As a DC Sound Recordist (aka, DC Sound Mixer, also MD VA sound), I work with DC, MD & VA-area video & film crews for taped, live and online projects that have small and large setups (single and multiple subjects and cameras), run-n-gun (mobile) & static shots, and other typical location production scenarios.
Most of the DC Sound Recordist work is based on the US East Coast's DC's DMV area (i.e., DC MD VA Sound jobs), in addition to other surrounding states (such as PA, Eastern WV, & DE). Clients are from everywhere in the World: DC/MD/VA local or visiting from other U.S. states nationwide (such as CA & NY), or are traveling to the DC-area from overseas, International (they're based elsewhere world-wide).
The DC Sound Recordist (DC Sound Mixer) jobs have been for video production projects such as Documentaries, Commercials, Corporate projects, Sports, Government (federal, state and local levels), Military, Nonprofits/NGOs, Entertainment, Medical stories, Human Interest, Animal & Pet stories, Marketing, Conferences, Network News, Podcasts (streaming/online) and other production project types.
I have over 20 years of professional production experience working with top-notch experienced production crews who use digital broadcast and video cameras of all sizes, such as Sony (FS7, Fx6, Fx9, A7s, XDCam), Red (Epic, Dragon, Komodo), Arri (Amira, Alexa-mini); BlackMagic, Canon (C300, 500) and the smaller DSLR Canon and Nikon cameras

Production setups can involve a single camera or multi-camera shoots and 1 to multiple subjects on-camera together; either hardline cables (static interviews) or wireless camera hops, and TC-jam syncing all devices (cameras, slate, TC units). (Please note for international clients, "wireless" = "radio")
I can provide various sound packages with differing gear elements as based on the client's sound requirements and budget for the project. My sound equipment is listed on the "Equipment List" page.
If you would like to talk more about my experience and capabilities--and the sound specs and equipment required for your shoot-- please contact me anytime on my cell 310.895.3464 (a phone call and text are the best methods for an immediate, timely, quick response) and by email, marianna.lafollette2010@gmail.com.

If calling from overseas, please let me know if you would like to connect using a video call (app or internet site, such as Zoom, FaceTime, or Google Hangout, for example), or via What's App (which is sometimes easier for internationally calling).
My being local in the DC area might help you flesh out your project when visiting the DMV area, especially if you're coming from another part of the US or are based internationally in another country. Please feel free to ask me for other resources needed for your shoot--such as, other crew member recommendations (camera, grip, PA, for ex)

Please feel free to ask me for other resources needed for your shoot--such as, other crew member recommendations (camera, grip, PA, for ex), locations (lifelong DC & tri-state working freelancer and resident), transportation questions (such as rush hour impacts vs. country driving among the lonely corn fields) and any other aspects that will impact your shoot's planning.
Anytime, any place....I'll be ready.
Best wishes with your plans for the project.
Cheers,
